A dragons breath in the Mists
A commoner that has been given a title due to what they have done for fae society.
To a commoner they are no longer a commoner, as they have risen above them in this feudal society. However to many (sidhe) nobles they are referred to as ennobled commoner as they do not see them as an equal.
A Commoners who became Nobles do not have to belong to a House … but they belong to the aristocratic society. So it’s up to the high rank Nobles who support (or don’t support) those ex-Commoners. They became a part of their game. If the upper nobility expect an ennobled Commoner to join their House, how can s/he resist? On the other hand, other competitively Nobles might trick her/him in their House. Welcome to the intrigue of the aristocrats.
